Jhirna is accessed through Dhela Gate and offers a different visual character from the dense Sal forests of other zones. Its deciduous and secondary forests are mixed with open grasslands, creating relatively open sightlines. The official reserve highlights sloth bear and wild elephant among its notable wildlife.
