Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, modifications and refunds may be handled for bookings made through Travora Heights.

Because different services are governed by different supplier and authority rules, cancellation terms may vary depending on the booking.
Last Updated: [Insert Date]

1. General Cancellation Terms

Cancellation eligibility depends on the type of service booked and the applicable terms communicated at the time of booking. These may include:

  • Resort/hotel terms
  • Safari authority rules
  • Forest department regulations
  • Supplier cancellation policies
  • Package-specific terms
  • Third-party service conditions

The applicable terms for your confirmed booking will prevail.

2. Resort & Hotel Bookings

Resort and hotel bookings may be cancelled according to the specific cancellation policy applicable to the selected property. Cancellation conditions may depend on:

  • Resort/property
  • Travel dates
  • Room category
  • Booking type
  • Seasonal period
  • Special dates
  • Supplier terms

Any applicable cancellation charges and refund eligibility will be communicated according to the booking terms.

3. Safari Bookings

Safari bookings are subject to the applicable rules of the relevant forest department, tiger reserve, tourism authority or booking platform.

Once a safari booking has been confirmed, cancellation, modification, refund or rescheduling may be restricted or unavailable, depending on the applicable authority rules.

The exact treatment will depend on the specific safari booking.

4. Dhikala & Forest Stay Bookings

Dhikala and other forest accommodation bookings may have separate cancellation and refund conditions established by the relevant authority.

These conditions may differ from private resort cancellation policies. The applicable terms will be communicated for the relevant booking.

5. Customized Packages

For customized travel packages, cancellation may depend separately on each component, including:

  • Resort
  • Safari
  • Transport
  • Activities
  • Guides
  • Third-party suppliers

Therefore, cancellation of one component does not automatically mean that all components of a package are refundable.

6. No-Show

A no-show means the customer does not use the booked service without completing the applicable cancellation process.

Unless otherwise specified in the booking terms, no-show bookings may be non-refundable. The applicable supplier policy will apply.

7. Early Departure

If a customer chooses to leave a resort or trip earlier than the confirmed booking dates, any refund will depend on the applicable property, package or supplier terms.

Early departure does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund for unused nights or services.

8. Date Modification / Rescheduling

Modification or rescheduling depends on the applicable booking terms. For certain confirmed bookings, date changes may not be permitted.

Where modification is permitted, it may be subject to:

  • Availability
  • Price difference
  • Supplier charges
  • Administrative charges
  • Applicable cancellation/rescheduling terms

9. Government or Forest Closure

If a safari or forest tourism activity is suspended, restricted or cancelled by the relevant authority, the applicable government/forest authority rules will determine whether:

  • A refund is available
  • A reschedule is possible
  • An alternative arrangement is available

Travora Heights will assist with communication and coordination where possible.

10. Weather & Natural Events

Bad weather, environmental conditions or other natural events may affect safari operations or travel arrangements.

Where the relevant authority or supplier cancels a service, the applicable authority/supplier policy will determine the available refund or alternative arrangement.

11. Force Majeure

Force majeure events may include:

  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather
  • Forest closures
  • Government restrictions
  • Road closures
  • Civil disturbances
  • Strikes
  • Operational restrictions
  • Other circumstances beyond reasonable control

Treatment of affected bookings will depend on the applicable supplier and authority policies.

12. Refund Processing

Where a refund is applicable:

  • Eligibility will be determined according to the applicable booking terms.
  • Applicable deductions may be made.
  • Refunds may generally be processed through the applicable/original payment method.
  • Processing time may depend on the relevant payment provider, resort, authority or supplier.

13. How to Request a Cancellation

Cancellation requests should be submitted through:

travoraheights@gmail.com+91 87565 96599

For faster processing, include:

  • Booking/reference number
  • Customer name
  • Registered mobile number
  • Travel dates

  • Cancellation request

The cancellation request will be reviewed according to the applicable booking terms.

14. Important Third-Party Disclaimer

Where a booking involves a resort, hotel, safari authority, forest department, transport provider or other third-party supplier, their applicable cancellation, refund and modification terms may apply. Travora Heights cannot guarantee a refund where the relevant service provider or authority does not permit one.
